USAID
The Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI), a local organization based in Islamabad, Pakistan, was the program’s prime contractor. The HumAhang (meaning “in harmony”) program collaborated with North Sindh and South Punjab communities and institutions to strengthen governance and peace initiatives.
As a subcontractor, Ƶ assisted CPDI, the local prime, in strengthening their internal systems, processes, and procedures to provide quality programming complying with USAID requirements. Focusing on best practices and USAID compliance, our knowledge transfer efforts included establishing sound financial and grants management processes and strengthening monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems.
This collaboration supported USAID’s New Partnership Initiative, employing global expertise to support local organizations carrying out work in their own communities.
This program was closed as part of the U.S. Government’s realignment of global development priorities.
